When you ask what is the busiest airport in the world you need to know that the definition is determined by the type of airport and their basis of operations. Now that you know this you, the busiest airport in the world is the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in the United States. It has the most passenger traffic of all the others, and when you think about it that is the one you need to worry about more. Sure knowing what the busiest cargo airport is might be interesting, but for traveling the passenger count means more.

The list goes on to over 30 different airports that are counted in places all over the world with the numbers as high as the 84,000,000 passengers that Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport has catered too, to the Munich Airport with 30,757,978. Choosing the right airport is not only about location but also about how much of a crowd you are willing to face.
